MILEY CYRUS & PARAMORE TOP ITUNES CHART

Miley Cyrus has the top downloaded song on iTunes for a second straight week with “Party in the U.S.A.” “Whatcha Say,” by Jason DeRulo, comes in at number two, followed by Owl City’s “Fireflies.” Paramore scores the number one album on the iTunes chart with Brand New Eyes, Breaking Benjamin follow with Dear Agony and Alice in Chains come in at number three with their first album in 14 years, Black Gives Way To Blue. Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 is at number four while Mariah Carey’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel rounds out the top five.

When asked about bringing their relationship public, Brand responded, “You will find out very soon.”

DR DRE EXPLAINS DETOX DELAY
Dr Dre sat down with ABCNews.com to discuss the status of his much delayed Detox album. The super producer revealed that the delay was caused by a lack of “motivation and other things getting in the way.” However, Dre also stated he hopes “to get it done at the end of this year and we can hear it next year.” Hmmm, hopefully this is the last push back we see for the highly anticipated Detox LP.

•NO BAIL FOR POLANSKI!

Roman Polanski does not have the option of bailing himself of out a jail in Zurich while he waits to see if he will be extradited back to California to face sentencing for a statutory rape conviction. Filmmaker Tyler Perry has opened up about the abuse and molestation he was a victim of as a child. Perry wrote an email to his fans in which he recounts several incidents of abuse, like his father beating him and his neighbor molesting him at the age of ten. •MEL’S DUI EXPUNGED!

According to RadarOnline.com, Mel Gibson’s highly publicized 2006 DUI arrest has been expunged from his record. This is the same incident in which he made racial and anti-Semitic slurs at his arresting police officers. Now, according to the courts, this arrest never happened.

•CHRIS ROCK SUED!
Chris Rock is being sued. A lawsuit filed by filmmaker Regina Kimbell is alleging that Rock copied her film to make his own documentary, Good Hair.
