DJ AM’S DEATH AN ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE

According to the NYC Medical Examiner, DJ AM’s death was an accidental overdose. Suicide was ruled out as a cause. There was a mixture of cocaine, Oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole found in his body. Levamisole is a drug often used to cut cocaine. DJ AM was found dead in his New York City apartment August 28th.

A promo video to promote the upcoming Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga and Kanye West has was posted on West’s blog. “What Happened To All The Rock Stars?,” West wrote on his blog, “The Fame Killed Them!” The 31 second clip shows a man carry a nude Gaga in slow motion before a voice, which sounds like Kanye, says “Fame Kills.”

LMFAO TALK NEXT ALBUM

LMFAO have made some waves with their debut album Party Rock, which leaped 24 spots on the Billboard album chart last week to number 94, thanks to the success of their new single “La La La.” This week the tune debuts at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while their previous hit “I’m in Miami Trick,” falls eight spots to number 81 after 17 weeks on the chart.

· TLC DROPS JON GOSSELIN.

Beginning November 2nd, Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be called Kate Plus 8. TLC announced Tuesday the show will now focus on the children with a “deeper” focus on Kate’s role as a single mom. The president of TLC says the network is “in development on a Kate project for 2010.”

· KIM KARDASHIAN OFF THE MARKET

…AGAIN. Kim Kardashian has officially reconciled with NFL running back Reggie Bush according to People. A source tells the magazine the couple spent a few months apart figuring out who they are as individuals so they could make their relationship work. Bush’s parents even attended Khloe Kardashian’s wedding to L-A Laker forward Lamar Odom over the weekend.

When asked at the premiere of his new film Surrogates if he would jump aboard the Twitter bandwagon, Bruce Willis told People "Doubtful, doubtful. I just can't live with myself if I started Twittering ... I just think that way lies madness."

It looks like Sarah Palin’s memoir will be available as soon as next month. Going Rogue: An American Life is co-authored by ghost writer Lynn Vincent and 1.5 million copies are being printed up for a November 17th release date, reports People.com. The 400-page book covers Palin’s life from her beauty pageant days to running for Vice President of the United States.

· POLANSKI SEEKS RELEASE FROM SWISS LOCKUP.

Roman Polanski’s attorneys are currently fighting for the Academy-award winning director to be released from Swiss custody. He is trying to keep from being extradited to the United States on a 1977 statutory rape charge, reports the Associated Press. A Switzerland court said a decision will made in the next few weeks, but legal experts say he will more than likely stay in the Zurich prison for quite some time. In a separate case, he must contest the charges he is facing in the U-S.

· BABY GIRL IS A CRYER.

Emmy award winner Jon Cryer and his wife, Lisa Joyner, have adopted a baby girl they have named Daisy. The little one was born August 11th and the world was first tipped off the couple had a child when he mentioned his “baby girl” during his 2009 Emmy award acceptance speech. He also has a nine-year-old son from a previous marriage.

· GOODBYE DUI?

TMZ.com reports that Mel Gibson is trying to get his DUI from three years ago erased from his record. An attorney for the star is slated to be in court next week to appeal to a judge because Gibson has apparently finished all of the stipulations of his 3 year probation. The DUI incident in July of 2006 became notorious after the actor went on an anti-Semitic tirade when police pulled him over.

Actress Emmy Rossum is getting a divorce. The Day After Tomorrow actress’ estranged husband, record company executive Justin Siegel, filed for divorce this past Friday.
