
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS A NEW MOVIE ROLE
Justin Timberlake has been cast in an upcoming movie. According to NME.com, the “Sexyback” singer will be playing the role of Napster co-founder Sean Parker in a film about the evolution of Facebook called The Social Network. The flick was written by Aaron Sorkin and will co-star Jesse Eisenberg. Production is set to begin next month in Boston.

NEW MICHAEL JACKSON SINGLE, ALBUM DETAILS
According to his official fan site, not only will there be a new single from Michael Jackson called “This Is It,” but there will also an upcoming album as well! Fans should expect the new song to be released posthumously on October 12th, while the 2-disc album drops on the same day as MJ’s This Is It film, on October 27th.

Jay-Z remains at the top spot on the Billboard album chart, with The Blueprint 3 shifting another 298-thousand copies in its second week, according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers. Whitney Houston climbs one spot to number two with I Look To You moving another 156-thousand copies, a 77 percent sales increase from last week. The album has sold over 548-thousand copies in just three weeks. Muse’s The Resistance debuts at number three selling 128-thosuand copies, a career-high for the U-K band. Kid Cudi bows at number four with his debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Miley Cyrus’ The Time Of Our Lives EP falls three rungs to number five, while Drake’s EP So Far Gone starts at number six. Rapper Lil Boosie nets his first top ten with Superbad at number seven, while Taylor Swift’s Fearless moves up two slots to number eight. Megadeth scores its fifth top ten set with Endgame entering the chart at number nine and the Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. slips three places to round out the top ten.
